Returns Policies
 
All textbooks purchased for the Fall 2021 semester can be returned without penalty by Friday, September 17. All returns must meet the below return requirements.


Easy Returns and Exchanges

 

1) Return to store (FREE)

Bring your receipt or order confirmation email/invoice (on your mobile device or printed) and the credit card used for the original purchase.

If you do not have your order information, we will be unable to issue a refund or credit. Please bring a government-issued form of identification (i.e. a driver’s license or other government issued ID). Shipping is not refundable.

 

2) Ship Your Items Back

If you received items by mail, it's easy to send them back.

Put the items you're returning in the original package if possible.

Returns:

Use the packing slip sent with your order or print your order details from the Order History page, circle the items you’re returning, and indicate the reason for return.

If you cannot print your order details, write the following information on a sheet of paper:

  • Your order number
  • The item number and description for each item being returned
  • The reason for return

Exchanges:

Use the packing slip sent with your order or print your order details from the Order History page, circle the items you’re exchanging.

If you can’t print your order details, write the following information on a sheet of paper:

  • Your order number
  • The item number and description for each item being exchanged
  • The item number, colour, size, and price for each desired exchange

Unfortunately, exchanges can only be done for items of the same price or higher. We will contact you if additional payment is required.

Once your package is ready, choose a mail carrier, pay for postage, and send it to the address below.

Return Reasons

 Just didn't like it

 Item damaged in shipping

 Too big

 Not what I expected

 Delivered later than expected

 Too small

 Defective

 Delivered wrong item

 Colour not what I expected

 

 

Textbook Returns

 

New textbooks may be returned provided that they are in new condition, unread and unmarked and you have your receipt. After the initial return period (1st two weeks), new textbooks will be accepted for return provided they meet the established criteria above and they are accompanied by proof of withdrawal from the course, up to the last day of classes. A 10% restocking fee will apply.

Used textbooks and custom courseware (ie. course manuals) are not returnable at any time.
 
eBooks and Access Codes are non-returnable once redeemed and can only be returned within the semester purchased for.  All digital returns are subject to approval by the publisher, which can cause delays in the return process.

 

Apparel and Gifts

Clothing and gifts can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in their original packaging, condition, and have tags still attached.
 
Non-Returnable Items

All opened shrink-wrapped packages, face coverings, lab (course) manuals, course packs, used textbooks, magazines, dissection kits, computer disks, CD’s, headphones/ear buds,  ink cartridges, batteries, calculators, cassettes, and In-Store E-Text cards.

Trade Books

General trade and reference books are returnable within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in their original packaging and condition.
